2.10. Primary Energy Supply Structure The structure of energy forms is analyzed in Chapter 2.4

Total primary energy supply is the amount of energy that meets all demand for energy in an energy system – total final energy demand, non-energy use, energy sector own use, energy conversion losses, and energy transport and distribution losses. Table 2.10.1. gives the structure of needs in total primary energy supply during the 2004 to 2009 period. Also, Figure 2.10.1. presents the structure of total primary energy supply during the period 1988 to 2009 and the projected trends in primary energy supply to 2030. In 2009, total primary energy supply decreased by 1.6 percent from the previous year. Energy conversion losses increased by 4.7 percent, energy sector own use by 19.7 percent and energy transport and distribution losses by 9.1 percent. Final energy demand as well as non-energy use decreased by 4.2 percent and 15.7 per-cent respectively.

Tijekom proteklog razdoblja od 2004. do 2009. godine ukupna potrošnja energije imala je trend blagog opadanja, a prosječna godišnja stopa smanjenja potrošnje iznosila je 0,3 posto. Trend porasta je ostvaren samo u neposrednoj potrošnji energije i to s prosječnom godišnjom stopom od 0,6 posto, dok se u svim ostalim sektorima potrošnja energije smanjivala. Gubici ener-getskih transformacija smanjivali su se s prosječnom godiš-njom stopom od 1,5 posto, a potrošnja energije za pogon ener-getskih postrojenja s prosječnom godišnjom stopom od 0,7 posto. Neenergetska potrošnja energije, kao i gubici transporta i distribucije energije ostvarili su trend smanjenja s prosječnom godišnjom stopom od 3,3 posto.

In the period 2004 to 2009, total primary energy supply was slightly decreasing, at an average annual rate of 0.3 percent.

Only final energy demand had an increase, at an average 0.6 percent annually, while in all other sectors primary energy supply was in decline. Energy conversion losses decreased at an average annual rate of 1.5 percent, and energy sector own use at an average 0.7 percent. Non energy use, transport and distribution losses decreased at an average 3.3 percent annually.

Figure 2.10.2. shows the shares of specific sectors in total primary energy supply in the years 2004, 2009 and 2030.

Final energy demand had the largest share in the primary energy supply and in 2009 it was 64.9 percent. In the period 2004 to 2009 the share of final energy demand increased by Udjeli pojedinih sektora u ukupnoj potrošnji energije u 2004.,

7,8 posto, a udio gubitaka u transportu i razdiobi energije s 2,9 na 2,5 posto. Također je smanjen i udio neenergetske potrošnje i to s 7,2 na 6,2 posto. U razdoblju do 2030. godine predviđen je porast udjela neposredne potrošnje energije na 71,4 posto.

Udjeli neenergetske potrošnje i potrošnje energije za pogon energetskih postrojenja će se smanjivati, dok se udjeli gubitaka energetskih transformacije i gubitaka transporta i distribucije energije neće značajnije mijenjati.

U tablici 2.10.1. prikazana je i struktura potrošnje energije u tri karakteristična sektora neposrednih potrošača - industriji, pro-metu i općoj potrošnji. Jednako je tako na slici 2.10.3. prikazan razvoj potrošnje energije u tri spomenuta sektora u proteklom razdoblju od 1988. godine, kao i predviđeni razvoj do 2030.

godine. U odnosu na potrošnju energije ostvarenu u 2008.

godini, potrošnja energije u industriji u 2009. godini značajno je smanjena i to za 16,4 posto. Također je smanjena potrošnja energije u ostala dva sektora i to u općoj potrošnji i prometu za 0,7 posto. U razdoblju od 2004. do 2009. godine u industriji je ostvaren trend opadanja potrošnje energije s prosječnom godišnjom stopom od 2,4 posto. U prometu i u općoj potrošnji ostvaren je trend porasta potrošnje s prosječnom godišnjom stopom od 3,2 odnosno 0,3 posto.

Table 2.10.1. gives the structure of primary energy supply in three characteristic final demand sectors of – industry, transport and other sectors. Figure 2.10.3. shows the trends in primary energy supply in these three sectors in the period from 1988 as well as the projected trends to 2030. Compared to energy demand in 2008, energy demand in industry in 2009 significantly decreased by 16.4 percent. Energy demand was also lower in other two sectors: in other sectors and in transport by 0.7 percent. In the period 2004 to 2009 energy demand in the industry declined at an average annual rate of 2.4 percent. In the transport sector and other sectors over this period energy demand had a growing trend, at ave-rage annual rates of 3.2 percent and 0.3 percent respectively.
