4.2. Gas Sector Capacities and Networks

4.2.1. Production and processing

Natural gas is produced from 17 on-shore and 6 off-shore gas fields meeting 64.2 percent of total domestic demand. The lar-gest share of gas produced in Panon area is coming from the fields Molve and Kalinovac. They include the units for processing and preparation of gas for transportation - Central gas stations Molve I, II and III. Their capacities are shown in the Table 4.2.1.

4.2.2. Transport

Transport prirodnog plina je regulirana energetska djelatnost koja se obavlja kao javna usluga i predstavlja osnovnu dje-latnost tvrtke Plinacro d.o.o., Zagreb koja je vlasnik i operator plinskoga transportnoga sustava. Tvrtka Plinacro je u potpu-nosti u vlasništvu Republike Hrvatske.

4.2.2. Transportation

Natural gas transportation is a regulated energy activity per-formed as a public service and represents the primary activity of the company Plinacro Ltd., which is the owner and opera-tor of the gas transport system. Plinacro is fully owned by the Republic of Croatia.

U 2009. godini sustavom je transportirano 3,148 milijardi m3 prirodnog plina, od čega 2,777 milijardi m3 od ulaza u transportni sustav do izlaznih mjerno-redukcijskih stanica te ostatak od 370 milijuna m3 do podzemnog skladišta plina Okoli. Transport prirodnog plina u vršnoj potrošnji iznosio je u prosjeku 630 000 m3/h, dok je maksimalna ostvarena predaja plina iznosila 790 000 m3/h.

In 2009, 3.148 billion m3 of natural gas were transported, of which 2.777 billion m3 from entry to exit measuring-reduction stations, and 370 million m3 to the underground storage Okoli. During the peak demand periods the quantities of approximately 630 000 m3/h were transported, while the maximum quantities of 790 000 m3/h were delivered to customers.

Transportni sustav obuhvaća 2 113 km plinovoda, 154 mjesta isporuke plina s 257 mjernih linija te 19 mjesta ulaza u sustav.

Tijekom 2009. godine na transportni je sustav priključena mjerno-redukcijska stanica Pula. Transportni sustav omoguću-je predaju plina na području 16 županija.

The natural gas transport system comprises 2 113 km of pipe-lines, 154 exit measuring-reduction stations with 257 measu-ring lines and 19 entry measumeasu-ring stations. New measumeasu-ring- measuring-reduction station Pula was attached to the transport system in 2009. The whole system transmits gas in 16 Counties.

4.2.3. Skladištenje

Skladište plina Okoli u sastavu je tvrtke Podzemno skladište plina d.o.o. koje je od 01. svibnja 2009. u vlasništvu tvrtke Plinacro koja je preuzela upravljanje i organizaciju djelatno-sti skladištenja prirodnog plina. Projektirani radni obujam podzemnog skladišta plina Okoli iznosi 553 milijuna m3. Maksimalni kapacitet utiskivanja iznosi 3,8 milijuna m3/dan, a maksimalni kapacitet crpljenja 5,8 milijuna m3/dan.

1. siječnja 2009. godine na snagu je stupio Tarifni sustav za skladištenje prirodnog plina, bez visine tarifnih stavki (NN 151/2008) kojim je opisana metodologija za utvrđivanje tarifnih stavki za skladištenje prirodnog plina, a dužni su ga primjenjivati energetski subjekti koji obavljaju energetsku

The underground gas storage Okoli is a part of the company Podzemno skladište plina, Ltd. which is from May 1st 2009 owned by Plinacro that took over management and organi-sation of natural gas storage activities. Designed capacity of underground gas storage is 558 million m3. Maximum injection capacity is 3.8 million m3/day and the maximum withdrawal capacity is 5.8 million m3/day.

održavanja, zamjene, izgradnje ili rekonstrukcije objekata i zaštite okoliša, uključujući razuman rok povrata sredstava od investicija u sustav skladišta plina. U ovom tarifnom sustavu primjenjuje se metoda regulacije, odnosno metoda priznatih troškova poslovanja.

Od 1. studenoga 2009. na snagu su stupila i Pravila korište-nja sustava skladišta plina (NN 50/2009) kojima su uređeni tehnički uvjeti za pogon, vođenje i razvoj sustava skladišta plina, povezivanje s ostalim dijelovima plinskog sustava, priključenje na transportni sustav te mjerna pravila pri skladi-štenju plina.

4.2.4. Distribucija

U Hrvatskoj je u 2009. godini poslovalo 38 tvrtki koje su se bavile distribucijom prirodnog plina te jedna tvrtka (Plinara d.o.o., Pula) koja se bavila distribucijom prirodnog plina, gradskog plina i isparenog UNP-a. Duljina distribucijske plin-ske mreže za plin iznosi 17 666 km.

This tariff system applies the method of regulation, and method of recognized operating costs.

2009 The Rules of using a gas storage system (Official Gazette 50/09) which have entered into force November 1st regulate the technical conditions for operation, management and sto-rage system development, linking with other parts of the gas system, the connection to the transmission system and mea-suring rules for gas storage.

4.2.4. Distribution

There are 38 companies for distribution of natural gas in the Republic of Croatia, and one company for distribution of natu-ral gas, town gas and evaporated LPG (Plinara, Pula), making altogether 39 distribution companies. Total gas distribution network in Croatia is 17 666 km long.

4.2.5. Opskrba

Dozvolu za obavljanje djelatnosti opskrbe plinom do kraja 2009. godine ishodilo je 45 tvrtki.

Uredbom o sigurnosti opskrbe prirodnim plinom (NN 112/2008) određene su mjere za osiguranje pouzdane i učinkovite opskrbe prirodnim plinom kao i kriteriji i način određivanja dovoljne količine prirodnog plina za osiguranje

4.2.5. Supply

By the end of 2009, 45 companies obtained natural gas supply licence.
