3. Fonctionnement du service d’information
3.4. Aperçu du système FL-ATIS II
L’architecture du système FL-ATIS II s’inspire très largement de celle de l’actuel FL-ATIS, car le nouveau système n’est qu’une amélioration du système déjà existant. En effet, selon le document Invitation to negociate – Statewide Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) – Phase II (présen-té à la section 2.4.5), il apparaît globalement que les principales composantes demeurent les mê-mes et que les modifications sont essentiellement destinées à élargir la marge de manœuvre des opérateurs des TMC (ex. : en intégrant dans SunGuide des fonctions permettant aux opérateurs d’éditer l’information qu’ils envoient vers FL-ATIS) et à augmenter les possibilités de générer des ressources financières (ex. : par l’intermédiaire de la « vente » de données à des agences publiques et privées, third data feed). Pour ces raisons, il s’avère intéressant de prendre connaissance de l’architecture de FL-ATIS II, et ce, d’autant plus que le schéma qui en est fait explicite les liens en-tre les différents sous-systèmes et le cheminement de l’information, de la source vers les modes de diffusion.
La figure 10 présente les composantes et sous-systèmes de FLATIS-II et la figure 11 expose de manière plus détaillée le sous-système de diffusion de l’information (Information Dissemination Subsystem)115.

Les figures 10 et 11 permettent de suivre le cheminement de l’information selon chaque type.
Ainsi :
l’information sur les conditions routières provient du réseau d’information des TMC, des FHP, des Roads Rangers, des State Emergency Operation Centers, etc. de chaque district.
Elle est transmise à SunGuide qui la transmet au système de diffusion de données par l’intermédiaire du C2C (par Internet). Ce dernier envoie l’information notamment vers :
sa composante RVI (IVR component) qui fournit à l’usager l’information spécifique de-mandée par l’entremise du menu d’appel. L’information est envoyée à l’usager par l’intermédiaire d’un fournisseur local de télécommunication. Elle permet aussi de réali-ser des transferts d’appels vers d’autres agences spécifiées par l’usager;
sa composante site Internet (Website component) qui fournit l’information aux voya-geurs en temps réel et permet aussi le transfert vers le site des agences de transport public. Le site Internet permet également à l’usager de sélectionner une icône de camé-ra à partir de la carte et de visionner des vidéos disponibles sur cette camécamé-ra;
sa composante Personnalisation (Personalization component) qui assure le fonction-nement des services personnalisés tels que My Florida 511.
Les images vidéo captées par les caméras en circuit fermé des TMC sont transmises vers le système de diffusion des données par l’intermédiaire du sous-système de fusion des images (Video Aggregation Subsystem). En fait, les images sont sélectionnées par le systè-me de diffusion des données et sont ensuite transmises vers les pages Internet (site Inter-net, application mobile);
L’information spéciale telle que les alertes AMBER, SILVER, LEO, les alertes provenant des transports publics, les alertes d’urgences, etc. qui doivent être transmises à l’ensemble d’une région de la Floride sont reçues par le système de diffusion des données par l’intermédiaire d’un lien Internet. Cette information provient généralement des TMC, du TEOO et d’autres agences autorisées.
