Hotel de Ville de Tours Travel directions:
To Paris by air:
The nearest international airports are Charles de Gaulle (Roissy-CDG) north of Paris and Orly south of Paris. The most common way to travel to Tours from either of these airports requires getting to the Montparnasse SNCF train station in Paris first. The most economical
transportation from either airport to Montparnasse is via the RER (suburban train, not to be confused with the underground "metro", or with the TGV or other “Grande ligne” inter-city trains).
Practical information about Paris airports can be found on the Aéroports de Paris How to go to Tours from Paris –
TGV (High Speed Train) SNCF.
Obligatory booking
last of the trip : about one hour.
Some trains stop only at St Pierre des Corps without going to Tours. In this case a shuttle train is at the disposal of the travellers to join Tours (5 minutes). Ask to the controller.
From Roissy Airport and Orly
Some TGV go directly from Roissy to Tours. It’s necessary to book.
If not, you have two possibilities between the airports and Gare Montparnasse : Bus or RER.
By RER : Go to Denfert-Rocherreau then take the subway Direction Charles de Gaulle Etoile (Line 6). Go to Montparnasse Bienvenue station then follow the direction “SNCF
GRANDES LIGNES – DEPART”.
