AFR/RC8/R3:

The Regional Committee,

Having noted the resolutions WHA11.16 and 42 adopted by the Eleventh World Health Assembly

1 and resolution EB21.R39 adopted by the Executive Board at its Twenty-first session,2

1. NOTES with particular interest the recommendation formulated in favour of the establishment of national co-ordinating committee comprising representatives of all organizations concerned;

2. SUGGESTS that, in order to achieve a better utilization of resources and the necessary technical harmonization, these committees may be organized not only on a national plane but also possibly at territorial level.
