Abstract.
-
Detailed numerical calculztion of electron transport cocficients in HCI-N2 and HCI-Ar mixtures have been carried out over a range 10-18 < E / N < 10-1s V.cm2. Recently published cross-sections for HCI including theoretical values for rotational excitatiori have been used.A tentative explanation for the discrepancies reported for the electron attachement irte constants is given.
