COMMITTEE ON GIFTS A N D BEQUESTS
The Executive Board at its thirteenth session, in resolution E B I J . R ^ ,1 established a Committee on Gifts and Bequests and authorized this Committee "to accept on behalf of the Board gifts and bequests made to the Organization, subject to the provisions of Article 57 of the Constitution".
If the Board, as a result of its consideration of document EB26/5 on the subject of "Voluntary Fund for Health Promotion", decides to delegate to its
Chairman the authority to accept contrioutions to that fund, which include the type of miscellaneous gifts and bequests formerly accepted by the Committee on Gifts and Bequests, the necessity to continue this Committee would n o longer exist.
The Board may wish to consider adopting a resolution along the following lines :
"The Executive Board,
Considering that the Board has delegated to its Chairman the authority to accept miscellaneous gifts and bequests which may be contributed to the Voluntary Fund for Health Promotion, and that the necessity for the continu,
anee of the Committee on Gifts and Bequests has therefore ceased to exist, 1 . THANKS the members of the Committee for their work; and
2 . DISSOLVES the Committee on Gifts and Bequests."
