Utilisation conforme
Cette lampe est exclusivement conçue pour un usage intérieur, dans des locaux secs et fermés.
Étant donné que la lampe est équipée d‘un inter- rupteur, il convient de l‘installer à portée de main.
La lampe peut être fixée sur toutes les surfaces nor- malement inflammables. Tout autre usage que celui décrit plus haut ou modification de l‘appareil est interdit et peut endommager ce produit. Un usage non conforme peut en outre provoquer d‘autres dangers mortels et blessures ainsi que des défaillances techniques (par ex. court-circuit, incendie, décharge électrique). Cet appareil est uniquement destiné à un usage domestique.

Prévention de risques mortels par électrocution
J Avant chaque branchement de la lampe sur le secteur, vérifier le bon état du cordon secteur et le cas échéant du câble de raccordement.
Ne jamais utiliser la lampe si vous détectez le moindre endommagement.
m PRUDENCE ! Un cordon secteur et un câble de raccordement endommagés représentent un danger de mort par électrocution.
J Avant d‘effectuer le montage, vérifiez que la tension secteur corresponde à la tension de service requise de la lampe (230 - 240 V ~).
J Absolument éviter tout contact de la lampe avec de l‘eau ou d‘autres liquides.
J Ne jamais ouvrir les composants électriques, ni insérer des objets quelconques dans ceux-ci.
Ce type d‘intervention représente un danger mortel d‘électrocution.
J Uniquement saisir la fiche secteur par les parties isolées pour la brancher ou la débrancher ! J Si la conduite flexible externe de cette lampe
est endommagée, elle doit uniquement être remplacée par une conduite spéciale ou par une conduite exclusivement disponible auprès du fabricant ou d’un de ses représentants agréés.
J Uniquement brancher la lampe suspendue sur le secteur au moyen du cordon secteur d’origine.
J Uniquement raccorder des lampes suspendues du même type (modèle 2592). Pour cela, exclusivement utiliser les câbles de raccorde- ment livrés avec les lampes.
J Les lampes suspendues raccordées doivent uniquement être branchées sur une seule prise de courant. Veiller à ne jamais brancher plus de 10 lampes suspendues raccordées sur une prise de courant. Autrement, vous risquez de surcharger les connecteurs et câbles.
J Veiller à ce que toutes les lampes suspendues soient d’abord raccordées par les câbles de raccordement avant de brancher le cordon secteur dans la prise de courant.
Prévention de risque d‘incendies et de blessures J RISQUE DE BLESSURES ! Immédiatement
après le déballage, contrôler le parfait état de chaque ampoule et verre de lampe. Ne pas utiliser la lampe avec des ampoules et / ou des verres de lampe défectueux. Veuillez dans ce cas contacter la filiale de service pour une pièce de rechange.
J RISQUE DE BRÛLURE ! Afin d‘éviter toutes brûlures, vérifiez que la lampe est éteinte et suffisamment froide avant de la manipuler.
L‘ampoule dégage une forte chaleur.
J Des éléments de la lampe et l‘ampoule peuvent atteindre des températures > 60 °C lorsque la lampe est allumée, il faut donc éviter tout contact.
J Avant de remplacer une ampoule défectueuse, il faut laisser la lampe refroidir complètement.
J Immédiatement remplacer toute ampoule défectueuse par une neuve. Avant de remplacer une ampoule, toujours débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise de courant.
Immédiatement remplacer un verre de protection cassé par un verre neuf. Veuillez contacter le S.A.V. ou un électricien.
J Ne pas utiliser cette lampe avec un variateur ou un interrupteur électronique. La lampe n‘est pas compatible à ces dispositifs.

RISQUE D‘INCENDIE ! La lampe doit être montée à une distance d‘au moins 20 cm des objets illuminés.

J Ne pas laisser la lampe allumée sans surveillance.
J Ne pas recouvrir la lampe par des objets quel- conques. Un dégagement de chaleur excessif peut provoquer un incendie.
J Ne pas laisser la lampe ou le matériel d‘em- ballage traîner négligemment. Les films et les sachets en plastique, les éléments en matières synthétiques, etc. peuvent devenir des jouets dangereux dans les mains des enfants.
Sécurité
Pour travailler en toute sécurité J Uniquement utiliser un tube fluorescent T5 et
d‘une puissance maximale de 13 watts.
J Monter la lampe de manière à ce qu‘elle soit à l‘abri de l‘humidité et des salissures.
J Soigneusement préparer le montage et l‘effectuer sans hâte. Préparez toutes les pièces détachées et l‘outillage requis et posez-les à portée de main.
J Toujours être vigilant ! Toujours travailler concentré et procéder avec prudence. Ne jamais effectuer le montage de la lampe si vous n‘êtes pas concentré ou vous sentez mal.

Outils et matériels nécessaires
Les outils et matériels indiqués ne sont pas compris dans la fourniture. Il s‘agit d‘informations sans caractère obligatoire et de valeurs données à titre indicatif. Les caractéristiques du matériel dépendent des conditions spécifiques sur place.

Mise en service

Monter la lampe
1. Mesurer le mur ou la surface de montage pour les trous. Afin d‘aligner correctement la lampe, utiliser un niveau à bulle.
2. Marquer un écart de 500 mm pour les deux trous de fixation.
3. Percer ensuite les trous de fixation (ø env. 5 mm, profondeur env. 30 mm). Prendre soin de ne pas endommager une ligne d‘alimentation.
4. Insérer les chevilles fournies dans les trous de perçage. Insérer les vis fournies dans les chevilles
et les laisser sortir d‘environ 1,3 mm du mur ou de la surface de montage.
5. Fixer la lampe à l‘aide des trous de montage correspondants 4 ou 8 sur les vis.
6. Brancher la fiche du cordon secteur 12dans la prise de courant de la lampe 1.
7. Brancher la fiche secteur 12dans la prise de courant. Votre lampe est à présent prête à fonctionner.

Raccord de plusieurs lampes
PRUDENCE ! Veiller à ce que toutes les lampes suspendues soient d’abord raccordées par les câbles de raccordement 7 avant de brancher le cordon secteur 12 dans la prise de courant.
Remarque : veiller à ne jamais brancher plus de 10 lampes suspendues raccordées sur une prise de courant.
j Ne pas raccorder plus de trois lampes du même type. Procéder selon les étapes 1 à 5 du chapitre Montage de la lampe.
Remarque : veiller à ce que l’écart entre les lampes ne dépasse pas 21 cm.
j Retirez le capuchon de protection 6. j Insérer le câble de raccordement 7 dans la
prise de raccordement 5 de la lampe.
j Insérer le deuxième connecteur du câble de raccordement 7 dans la prise de courant 1 de l’autre lampe.
j Brancher la fiche du cordon secteur 12 dans la prise de courant 1 de la lampe extérieure gauche.
j Brancher la fiche secteur 12 dans la prise de courant. Votre lampe est à présent prête à fonctionner.

Allumage / Extinction
j Utiliser l‘interrupteur MARCHE / ARRÊT 2 pour allumer la lampe ou l‘éteindre.

Orienter la lampe
j Uniquement modifier l‘orientation de la lampe lorsque celle-ci est éteinte.
PRUDENCE ! RISQUE DE BRÛLURES ! Des éléments de la lampe et l‘ampoule peuvent atteindre des températures > 60 °C lorsque la lampe est allumée, il faut donc éviter tout contact.
j Laisser la lampe entièrement refroidir.
j Tourner la réglette d‘éclairage 9 dans la direction désirée.

Changer l‘ampoule
c PRUDENCE ! DANGER D‘ÉLECTROCU- TION ! Commencer par couper la lampe du réseau secteur avant de remplacer une ampoule 11. Dé- brancher la fiche secteur 12de la prise de courant.
j Laisser la lampe refroidir complètement.
j Utiliser un chiffon non effilochant pour saisir l‘ampoule 11.
Retirez les pinces 13 se trouvant à droite et à gauche de la vitre de protection.
j Retirer la vitre de protection 10des deux rails de guidage latéraux. Déposer la vitre avec précaution.
j Tourner l‘ampoule 11d‘ ¼ de tour et la retirer de la douille.
j Uniquement utiliser un tube fluorescent T5 de 230 - 240 volts d‘une puissance maximale de 13 watts.
j Insérer prudemment la nouvelle ampoule dans le culot et la monter en exécutant ¼ de tour.
Contrôler la bonne fixation.
j Repousser la vitre de protection 10 (le côté lisse doit être dirigé vers l‘extérieur) à dans le rail de guidage.
Fixez les pinces 13 sur le côté droit et sur le côté gauche de la vitre de protection.
j Tourner la réglette d‘éclairage 9 dans la direction désirée.
m PRUDENCE ! Veiller à ce que toutes les lampes suspendues soient d’abord raccordées par les câbles de raccordement 7 avant de brancher le cordon secteur 12 dans la prise de courant.
j Brancher la fiche secteur 12dans la prise de courant. Votre lampe est à présent prête à fonctionner.

Entretien et nettoyage
c PRUDENCE ! DANGER D‘ÉLECTROCU- TION ! Débrancher la fiche secteur 12de la prise de courant.
N‘utilisez ni solvants, ni essence, ni autres pro- duits similaires. Ceci endommagerait la lampe.
j Laisser la lampe refroidir complètement.
c PRUDENCE ! DANGER D‘ÉLECTROCU- TION ! Pour motifs de sécurité électrique, la lampe ne doit jamais être nettoyée avec de l‘eau ou d‘autres liquides, ni être immergée. Unique- ment utiliser un chiffon sec anti-effilochant pour le nettoyage.
j Ne pas utiliser de solvants, essence ou autres Ceci endommage la lampe.

Mise au rebut
L’emballage et les matériaux d’emballage se com- posent exclusivement de matières recyclables. Vous pouvez les mettre au rebut dans les conteneurs de recyclage locaux.
Le symbole de poubelle rayé sur les roues signifie que dans l’Union Européenne, ce produit doit être mis au rebut séparément.
Ceci s’applique au produit ainsi qu’à tous les acces- soires portant ce symbole. Les produits ainsi signalés ne doivent pas être mis au rebut dans les ordures ménagères, mais dans un centre de collecte pour le recyclage des appareils électriques et électroniques.
Le recyclage aide à réduire la consommation en matières premières et à préserver l’environnement.

Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vollständig und sorgfältig durch. Klappen Sie die Seite mit den Abbildungen aus. Diese Anleitung gehört zu diesem Produkt und enthält wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetrieb- nahme und Handhabung. Beachten Sie immer alle Sicherheitshinweise.
Prüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme, ob die korrekte Spannung vorhanden ist und ob alle Teile richtig mon- tiert sind. Sollten Sie Fragen haben oder unsicher in Bezug auf die Handhabung des Gerätes sein, setzen Sie sich bitte mit Ihrem Händler oder der Servicestelle in Verbindung. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Diese Leuchte ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb im Innenbereich, in trockenen und geschlossenen Räu- men geeignet. Wegen der Schalterbedienung sollte die Leuchte im Handbereich angebracht werden. Die Leuchte kann auf allen normal entflammbaren Ober- flächen befestigt werden. Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben oder eine Veränderung des Gerätes ist nicht zulässig und führt zur Beschädigung.
Darüber hinaus können weitere lebensgefährliche Gefahren und Verletzungen sowie technische Fehl- funktionen (z. B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag) die Folge sein.
Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Einsatz in privaten Haushalten vorgesehen.

Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch un- sachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, wird keine Haftung übernommen!
Vermeiden Sie Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Netzanschluss die
Leuchte, das Netzkabel sowie ggf. das Verbin- dungskabel auf etwaige Beschädigungen.
Benutzen Sie Ihre Leuchte niemals, wenn Sie irgendwelche Beschädigungen feststellen.
VORSICHT! Beschädigte Netzkabel und Ver- bindungskabel bedeuten Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Montage, dass die vorhandene Netzspannung mit der benötigten Betriebsspannung der Leuchte übereinstimmt (230 - 240 Volt ~).
Vermeiden Sie unbedingt die Berührung der Leuchte mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten.
Öffnen Sie niemals eines der elektrischen Be- triebsmittel (z.B. Schalter, Fassung o.ä.) oder stecken irgendwelche Gegenstände in dieselben.
Derartige Eingriffe bedeuten Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag.
Fassen Sie nur den isolierten Bereich des Netz- steckers beim Anschluss oder Trennen vom Netzstrom an!
Wenn die äußere flexible Leitung dieser Leuchte beschädigt ist, darf sie nur durch eine spezielle Leitung oder durch eine Leitung ersetzt werden, die ausschließlich über den Hersteller oder seinen Servicevertreter erhältlich ist.
Schließen Sie die Unterbauleuchte nur mit dem original Netzkabel an den Netzstrom an.
Verbinden Sie nur original Unterbauleuchten des gleichen Typs (Modell 2592) miteinander.
Verwenden Sie dazu nur die mitgelieferten original Verbindungskabel.
Schließen Sie miteinander verbundene Unter- bauleuchten nur an eine Steckdose an. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie nur maximal 10 Unterbau- leuchten des gleichen Typs über eine Steckdose
zusammenschalten. Andernfalls kann es zu Über- lastungen der Anschlüsse und Kabel kommen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass erst alle Unterbau- leuchten mittels Verbindungskabel verbunden sein müssen, bevor Sie das Netzkabel in die Steckdose stecken.
Vermeiden Sie Brand- und Verletzungsgefahr
VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Überprüfen Sie unmittelbar nach dem Auspacken jedes Leucht- mittel und Lampenglas auf Beschädigungen.
Betreiben Sie die Leuchte nicht mit defektem Leuchtmittel und / oder Lampenglas. Setzen Sie sich in diesem Fall für Ersatz mit der Servicestelle in Verbindung.
VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR! Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Leuchte ausgeschaltet und abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie diese berühren, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden. Leuchtmittel entwickeln eine starke Hitze.
Leuchtenteile und Leuchtmittel können während des Betriebs Temperaturen von > 60 °C errei- chen und dürfen daher nicht berührt werden.
Lassen Sie die Leuchte vor dem Ersetzen eines defekten Leuchtmittels vollständig abkühlen.
Ersetzen Sie defekte Leuchtmittel sofort durch neue. Entfernen Sie vor dem Leuchtmittelwechsel immer zuerst den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
Ersetzen Sie ein zerbrochenes Schutzglas sofort durch ein neues.
Wenden Sie sich an die Service- stelle oder eine Elektrofachkraft.
Verwenden Sie diese Leuchte nicht für Dimmer und elektronische Schalter. Sie ist dafür nicht geeignet.

So verhalten Sie sich richtig Verwenden Sie nur eine 230 - 240 Volt Leucht-
stoffröhre T5 und mit einer Höchstleistung von 13 Watt.
Montieren Sie die Leuchte so, dass sie vor Feuchtigkeit und Verschmutzung geschützt ist.
Bereiten Sie die Montage sorgfältig vor und nehmen Sie sich ausreichend Zeit. Legen Sie alle Einzelteile und zusätzlich benötigtes Werk- zeug oder Material vorher übersichtlich und griffbereit zurecht.
Seien Sie stets aufmerksam! Achten Sie immer darauf was Sie tun und gehen Sie stets mit Ver- nunft vor. Montieren Sie die Leuchte in keinem Fall, wenn Sie unkonzentriert sind oder sich unwohl fühlen.

Benötigtes Werkzeug und Material
Die genannten Werkzeuge und Materialien sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Es handelt sich hierbei um unverbindliche Angaben und Werte zur Orien- tierung. Die Beschaffenheit des Materials richtet sich nach den individuellen Gegebenheiten vor Ort.

Inbetriebnahme

Leuchte montieren
1. Vermessen Sie die Wand bzw. Montagefläche für die Bohrungen. Verwenden Sie zur genauen Ausrichtung eine Wasserwaage.
2. Markieren Sie den Abstand von 500 mm für die beiden Befestigungslöcher.
3. Bohren Sie nun die Befestigungslöcher (ø ca. 5 mm, Tiefe ca. 30 mm). Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie keine Zuleitung beschädigen.
4. Führen Sie die beigefügten Dübel in die Bohr- löcher ein. Drehen Sie die beigefügten Schrauben in die Dübel ein und lassen diese ca. 1,3 mm von der Wand bzw. Montagefläche abstehen.
5. Befestigen Sie die Leuchte mit den entsprechen- den Montagelöchern 4 oder 8 an den Schrauben.
6. Stecken Sie den Anschluss des Netzkabels 12 in die Leuchtensteckdose 1.
7. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker 12 in die Steck- dose. Ihre Leuchte ist nun betriebsbereit.

Mehrere Leuchten miteinander verbinden
VORSICHT! Achten Sie darauf, dass erst alle Unter- bauleuchten mittels Verbindungskabel 7 verbunden sein müssen, bevor Sie das Netzkabel 12 in die Steckdose stecken.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie nur maximal 10 Unterbauleuchten des gleichen Typs über eine Steckdose zusammenschalten.
Montieren Sie bis zu drei Leuchten des gleichen Typs nebeneinander. Befolgen Sie dazu die Arbeitsschritte 1. – 5. des Kapitels „Leuchte montieren“.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Abstand zwischen den Leuchten nicht größer als 21 cm ist.
Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe 6.
Stecken Sie das Verbindungskabel 7 in die Verbindungssteckdose 5 der Leuchte.

Stecken Sie den zweiten Anschluss des Verbin- dungskabels 7 in die Leuchtensteckdose 1 der anderen Leuchte.

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker 12 in die Steck- dose. Ihre Leuchte ist nun betriebsbereit.

j Betätigen Sie den EIN- / AUS-Schalter 2, um die Leuchte ein- oder auszuschalten.

Leuchte ausrichten
Verändern Sie die Ausrichtung der Leuchte nur, wenn die Leuchte ausgeschaltet ist.
VORSICHT! VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR!
Leuchtenteile und Leuchtmittel können während des Betriebs Temperaturen von >60°C errei- chen und dürfen daher nicht berührt werden.
Lassen Sie die Leuchte vollständig abkühlen.
Schwenken Sie die Lichtleiste 9 in die gewünschte Richtung.

Leuchtmittel auswechseln
VORSICHT! STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!
Trennen Sie zum Auswechseln des Leuchtmittels 11 die Leuchte zuerst vom Stromnetz. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 12 aus der Steckdose.
Lassen Sie die Leuchte vollständig abkühlen.
Benutzen Sie zum Auswechseln des Leuchtmit- tels 11 ein sauberes, fusselfreies Tuch.
Entfernen Sie die rechts und links angebrachten Klammern 13 von der Schutzglasscheibe.
Ziehen Sie die Schutzglasscheibe 10 aus den beidseitigen Führungsschienen. Legen Sie diese vorsichtig zur Seite.
Drehen Sie das Leuchtmittel 11 mit einer ¼ Umdrehung und ziehen Sie es aus der Fassung heraus.
Verwenden Sie nur eine 230 - 240 Volt Leuchtstoffröhre T5 mit einer Höchstleistung von 13 Watt.
Stecken Sie das neue Leuchtmittel vorsichtig in die Fassung und montieren Sie es mit einer ¼ Umdrehung. Überprüfen Sie den richtigen Sitz.
Schieben Sie die Schutzglasscheibe 10 (glatte Seite sollte nach aussen zeigen) wieder in die Führungsschiene.
Befestigen Sie die Klammern 13 rechts und links an der Schutzglasscheibe.
Schwenken Sie die Lichtleiste 9 in die ge- wünschte Richtung.
VORSICHT! Achten Sie darauf, dass erst alle Unterbauleuchten mittels Verbindungskabel 7 verbunden sein müssen, bevor Sie das Netzkabel 12 in die Steckdose stecken.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker 12 in die Steck- dose. Ihre Leuchte ist nun betriebsbereit.
Wartung und Reinigung

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 12 aus der Steckdose.
Benutzen Sie keine Lösungsmittel, Benzin o.ä.

This light is suitable only for interior use, in dry and enclosed spaces. The light should be positioned within reach so that the switch can be operated conveniently. The light can be fitted to all normally inflammable surfaces. Any use other than that described above or modification to the lamp is not permitted and may lead to damage to people or property. Moreover, there is the risk of injury or loss of life and that the lamp may develop technical faults such as short circuit or fire or give an electric shock. This lamp is intended for use only in a do- mestic environment.

To avoid danger to life from electric shock
J Before connecting it to the mains, always check the light, the power cable as well as the con- necting cable if need be for any damage.
Never use the light if you see any damage.
m CAUTION! Damaged power cables and connecting cables are a danger to life as you could suffer an electric shock.
J Before assembly, ensure that the mains voltage available corresponds to the operating voltage necessary of the light (230 - 240 V ~).
J Never let the lamp come into contact with water or other liquids.
J Never open or insert anything into electrical fittings or equipment. Doing this sort of thing can lead to a serious danger to life from electric shock.
J Touch only the insulated part of the plug when connecting to or disconnecting from the mains supply.
J If the external flexible cable of this lamp is damaged, it may only be replaced by a special cable or a cable that is only available from the manufacturer or his service representative.
J Only connect the under-cabinet light to the mains current using the original power cable.
J Only connect original under-cabinet lights of the same type (Model 2592) with each other.
Only use the original connecting cable supplied to do so.
J Connect the under-cabinet lights that are linked up together to one socket only. Make sure that you only connect a maximum of 10 linked-up under-cabinet lights of the same type to one socket. Otherwise this might overload the con- nections and cables.
J Make sure that all under-cabinet lights are linked up via connecting cables before inserting the power cable into the socket.
To avoid danger of fire and injury
J RISK OF INJURY! Check every bulb and lampshade for damage immediately upon unpacking. Do not operate the light with a de- fective bulb or glass cover. If they are, contact the service point for a replacement.
J RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! Ensure the lamp has been switched off and allowed to cool before you touch it. In this way you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs develop a great deal of heat.
J Do not touch bulb components or bulbs as they can reach temperatures > 60 °C during operation.
J Allow the light to cool down completely before replacing a defective bulb.
J Replace defective bulbs immediately. Before replacing the bulb always remove the mains plug from the socket.
If a protective glass cover breaks have it replaced immediately at the ser- vice centre or by an electrician.
J Do not operate this light with a dimmer or an electronic switch. It is not suitable for this mode of operation.
J

Fitting the light
1. Measure up the wall or mounting surface for drilling the holes. Use a spirit level to improve accuracy.
2. Mark the two mounting holes a distance of 500 mm apart.
3. Now drill the mounting holes (ø approx. 5 mm, depth approx. 30 mm). Make sure that you do not damage any electrical cables during this operation.
4. Insert the supplied dowels into the drilled holes.
Insert the supplied screws into the dowels and tighten them. Let them project a distance of about 1.3 mm from the wall or mounting surface.
5. Attach the light using the appropriate mounting holes 4 or 8 to the screws.
6. Insert the light connector plug of the mains lead 12 into the light connector socket 1. 7. Insert the mains plug of the mains lead 12 into
a convenient mains socket. Your light is now ready for operation.

Connecting several lights together
CAUTION! Make sure that all under-cabinet lights are linked together by means of the connecting cables 7 before inserting the power cable 12 into the socket.
Note: Make sure that you only connect a maximum of 10 linked-up under-cabinet lights of the same type to one socket.
Install up to three lights of the same model next to each other. To do so, follow steps 1 – 5 of the section called “Mounting the lights”.
Note: Make sure that the distance between the lights is not more than 21 cm.
Remove the protective head guard 6. Insert the connecting cable 7 into the con-
necting socket 5 of the light.
Insert the second connection of the connecting cable 7 into the socket 1 of the other light.
Insert the connection of the power cable 12 into the socket 1 of the outer, left-hand light.
Insert the mains plug 12 into the socket. Your light is now ready to use.

Switch the ON / OFF switch 2 to turn the light on or off.

Never change the direction of the light while it is switched on.

Changing the bulbs
c CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! To replace the bulb 11, first of all dis- connect the light from the mains circuit. To do this pull the mains plug on the mains lead 12 out of the socket.
Allow the lamp to cool down completely.
Use a clean, lint-free cloth when changing light bulbs 11.
Remove the clips 13 attached at the right and left of the safety glass pane.
Pull the protective glass cover 10 out of the guides on both sides. Place the protective glass cover carefully to one side.
Rotate the bulb 11 ¼ turn and pull it out of the fitting.
Use a 230 - 240 volt T5 fluorescent tube type bulb with a maximum power output of 13 watt.
Insert a new bulb carefully into the fitting and turn it through ¼ turn to fix it in place. Check that it is correctly seated.
Shift the protecting glass disk 10 (smooth page should indicate outward) again into the guide rail.
Secure the clips 13 at the right and left of the safety glass pane.
Turn the strip light 9 into the desired direction.
m CAUTION! Make sure that all under-cabinet lights are linked together by means of the con- necting cables 7 before inserting the power cable 12 into the socket.
Insert the mains plug on the mains lead 12 back into the socket. Your light is now ready for operation.

Maintenance and Cleaning
c CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! To do this pull the mains plug on the mains lead 12 out of the socket.
Do not use solvents, benzene or similar sub- stances. They could damage the light.
Allow the lamp to cool down completely.
c CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! For reasons of electrical safety, the light must never be cleaned with water or other fluids or be immersed in water. When cleaning, only use a dry, lint-free cloth.
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar. This would cause damage to the light.

Disposal
The packaging and ancillary packing consist entirely of environmentally-friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.
The symbol of the wheelie bin with the line through it means that, in the European Union, the product has to be disposed of in a separate refuse collection. This applies to the product and to all components bearing this symbol. Products marked in this way may not be disposed of along with normal domestic waste but have to be handed in at a recycling collection point for electrical and electronic appliances. Recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials and to ease the burden on the environment.
