Dear Friends,
Christ is Risen! Indeed, He is Risen! We celebrate Easter, the center of our faith. Christ has triumphed over death! We remember Christ’s death and resurrection so as to see his dying and rising in our own lives. During Lent we may have “died” a bit ourselves through our Lenten practices of fasting, prayer and helping others. Out of our Lenten practices how do we now at Easter experience Christ’s rising in ourselves? How am I a little less selfish? How is my spiritual life, my relationship with God more open and intimate?
Easter is God’s call to us to rejoice in the beauty of life. Easter is God’s assurance that good triumphs over evil. We see much suffering in our world. Christ’s Resurrection is the sign that suffering and death are real, but not final. God has the last word. Life and love are victorious over death.
Lent is forty days long; the Easter season is fifty. Let us use these fifty days to consciously become more mindful of the beauty, grace and love in our lives.

May Crowning Schedule for Saturday May 14

The Faith Formation is hosting a May Crowning at all four Brighton Regional parishes on
Saturday, May 14
thfrom 1:00pm until 3:30pm.
We are inviting all parishioners who wish to join us to attend any or all of the Crowning services as we honor Mary, the Mother of God and ask for her intercession for Peace in our Families and in our World.
A decade of the Rosary will be said at each site along with the crowning of the Marian statues at each parish.

donated during the month exceed the amount expected for the month. Meanwhile, an unfavorable monthly variance indicates the total “weeklies” donated during the month do not meet budgeted expectations and our financial
obligations may not be met.
**Although St Anne Church has a favorable variance
compared to the budget for the fiscal year to date, caution
must be exercised. The St Anne budget excludes many
expenses normally included in an operating budget (lawn
care, a dedicated custodian salary and benefits, ect) which
are now provided by volunteers and/or benefactor
donation. The St Anne community is grateful for our
volunteers and special donations, but realize this may not
continue into the future.
