• Several students could not calculate drag coefficient for each part of Ahmed Body correctly

• Some of students missed for plotting the figure of ‘Velocity magnitude contour’ and ‘Modified- TKE vs. y-by-h’

• Some of students could not derive the frequency of drag coefficient correctly, so calculate wrong 𝑆𝑡 number

• One student answer that there was no flow separation during the simulation. But that is entirely wrong answer

• Several students did not plot the residual history graph for both 4deg and 10deg cases.. • Some of student calculated wrong friction force at

 Several students used wrong empirical equation to get the fully developed length, so they can’t compare the CFD result correctly for both laminar and turbulent conditions.. 

 Several students answered that 1 st order upwind scheme gives out results closer to the asymptotic range.  Some of student indicated validated

 Several students couldn’t indicate separation point or reattaching point correctly.  Some of student did not answered for all questions in

 Several of students indicated wrong sign for drag coefficient of Ahmed Body(Front Part

For problem 9.3, many students answered that the grid sets containing grid #8 is more sensitive respect to the refinement ratio.. Grid sets containing grid #4 is more

Learned how to model the airfoil and analyze the lift and drag while changing the angle of attack.. Required materials are notified at the end of the manual

However, since we are projecting the force vector into (1,0,0) vector to get the drag for other parts too, we shouldn’t change the sign of force for that specific part.. Some
