The Conference on Economic Co-ope?ation in Eastern Africa, Recognizing the gr~wing financial impli~ations of industrial development,

1. Requests the interim Council of Ministers to formulate a policy for the promotion of domesti. savings;

2. Requests the Economic Commission for Africa secretariat to study the possibiliti~s of ~romoting an increase in local savings.
