8.1.5. Langues sources
Dans ce sous-chapitre, nous nous proposons de nous attarder sur les tendances des sujets à se laisser influencer par telle ou telle langue romane, dans la production écrite en français. Dans ce but, nous essayerons, par la suite, d’inférer la langue source des erreurs interlinguales. Même si nous sommes intéressée par les langues romanes, nous ne pouvons pas ignorer le fait que l’anglais exerce aussi de l’influence sur la production écrite en français, parfois dans la même mesure que les autres langues romanes. Par conséquent, notre analyse comprendra aussi des informations sur l’anglais.
Faisons quelques observations préliminaires :
a) Nous sommes tentée de dire que le roumain est la langue qui influence le plus les sujets là où nous avons cité plusieurs sources, car celle-ci est leur langue maternelle et, de plus, le niveau des connaissances en langues espagnole et italienne est élémentaire. Quand même, cette supposition ne nous autorise pas à considérer le roumain comme la source exclusive des erreurs interlinguales, sans donner aux autres langues romanes le droit d’être nommées parmi les possibles sources, là où le contexte le permet. Dans un autre ordre d’idées, l’anglais pourrait aussi influencer les sujets dans leurs productions. Dans certains cas nous l’avons cité à côté d’autres langues romanes et dans d’autres nous l’avons considéré comme la source exclusive de l’erreur (surtout dans le cas des substitutions). C’est pour cela qu’au moment où nous analyserons les tendances des sujets à se laisser influencer par telle ou telle langue, nous indiquerons combien de fois une langue a été citée comme source exclusive des erreurs et combien de fois elle est citée à côté d’autres langues.
b) En faisant cette analyse, nous avons constaté, comme d’autres chercheurs l’ont fait maintes fois, que l’annotation du corpus d’un sujet n’est que la somme des intuitions du chercheur. « Tagging a learner corpus allows us, at least and at most, to systematize our intuitions ». (Milton and Chowdhury, 1994 : 129)
