The Economic Commission for Africa,

Considering the magnitude of the efforts put forth by the Secretariat of the Commission in arranging for the fifth session of the Commission held

in the Republic of Congo (Leopoldville),

Noting the set>11 complement of staff vith which the work of the fifth session vras handled with efficiency and dispatch by the Secretariat of the Commission,

Realizing the tremendous demands in timeT energy and devotion on the part of the Secretariat staff in facilitating the work and the successful outcome of the deliberations of the fifth session,

!• Commends the Executive Secretary and the staff of the Secretariat for their loyalty and devotion to duty in the cause of the economic and social progress of Africa.
