The Economic Commission for Africa,

Reoalling paragraphs l(b),

and (g), of its terms of reference, Conscious of the need to develop human resources in Africa as a ffieans of promoting rapid economic dev~lopment in all the territories of Africa,

1. Requests the ~xecutive S00ret,~y to make sub-regional studies of the economic and social oonsequences of racial disoriminatory practiceB on the mobilisC',tion of all available resourceB for the balanced

economic development of all territories within the geographical scope of the Corr~ission and to report back to the Commission at its fc~th

session!

2. Appeals to all member governments to facilitate the work of the Executive Secretary in the implem6nt,tion of this resolution.
