General Description

The ALS131 is a three-line to eight-line decoder/demulti-plexer with registers on the three address inputs. When the clock transitions from low to high, the address present at the select inputs (A, B, and C) is stored in the latches. The output enable controls, G1 and <32, control the state of the outputs independently of the select or clock inputs. All of the outputs are high unless G1 is high and <32 is low. The ALS131 is ideally suited for implementing glitch-free decod-ers in strobed (stored-address) applications in bus-oriented systems.

General Description Features

This device contains four independent gates, each of which performs the logic NAND function. Each input has hystere-sis which increases the noise immunity and transforms a slowly changing input signal to a fast changing, jitter-free output.
