4. Conclusions

4.3. Perspectives

Les résultats de cette étude amènent plusieurs perspectives pour des travaux futurs. Tout d’abord, l’analyse de l’impact de la congélation a permis de conclure que la méthode utilisée n’était pas compatible avec nos substituts cutanés. De nouvelles méthodes de congélation des substituts devront donc être investiguées ou bien d’autres alternatives envisagées. Une possibilité consiste à développer un calendrier de production de substituts cutanés en décalé afin d’avoir des substituts frais disponibles en tout temps. Les résultats des analyses des lipides épidermiques, quant à elles, ont permis de cibler une lacune au niveau de la proportion d’acide linoléique dans les substituts cutanés. Dans les travaux futurs, une supplémentation de cet acide dans le milieu de culture devrait donc être envisagé afin d’augmenter la présence de ce dernier dans les substituts. Suite à cette modification du protocole de production des substituts, de nouvelles analyses des lipides épidermiques pourront être envisagées afin d’évaluer l’impact de la supplémentation sur les

substituts sains et psoriasiques. Également, une analyse des lipides spécifiques à la couche cornée serait pertinente afin d’évaluer si les lipides diffèrent entre les substituts sains et pathologiques. Plus spécifiquement, la proportion du céramide EOS sera du plus grand intérêt en raison de son implication importante dans la fonction barrière.
