!Phis list of references that may be of assistance to contractors has been prepared by Hiss Eileen Carson, D.B .Re Librarian, following a suggestion from the Research and Education Committee of the Canadian Construction
Assooiation. This first list is necessarily a short one, the available literature
in
the field being. limited indeed. All the books listed in the first part arp held in theD.B.R. Library in the Building Research Centre at Ottawa, a libraw which is being developed as the library for the construction industry of Canada. !he books may be examined there at any time; visitors are always welcome. Short- term loans can be arranged but these must necessarily be restricted
in
the case of current text books.Comments on this list would be welcomed by the undersigned. mould more extensive notes on the recent books, for example, be of use, notes which might list the main contents of each book? Would a supplemeb.tary list of useful articles in the technical press be of servicle?
