Signing Up3
It’s simple. Mail to the SAAQ:
1. the detachable part of the PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBIT (PAD) AGREEMENT (after having signed it!)
2. a sample cheque marked "VOID" or "NUL"
3. fee payment notice or IRP fee invoice.
For IRP-registered vehicles only, you can make an appointment and hand the three documents in at an IRP counter.
Remember:
You must notify us of any change to your bank account.
You may put an end to pre-authorized debits in the course of a year, under certain conditions.
What happens in the course of a year …
…if you register another vehicle?
Registration fees for that vehicle must be paid in full, since no vehicle can be added under the pre-authorized debit program.
…if you store or discard a vehicle or register it outside Québec?
Pre-authorized debits will be adjusted accordingly.
