Greetings!

Initially, l would tike to express my gratitude to you for thé attention paid to thé Modem Iran Calligrapher's Association, thé tnnovator of methods applied to help people Write better, using writing materials of ail kinds, including pens, pencils, bail point pens, spécial writing reeds, phelt-tip pens, etc., where students will learn to write both Persian and English, using updated technologies, including: (relevant) teaching technologies, professional caméra, vidéo projections, LCDs, teacher's présence in class, audio-visual equipment, etc.

Secondly, in vlew of thé proposai placed for thé inscription of thé: "National Program to Safeguard thé Traditional Art of Calligraphy in Iran", as well as thé considérable attention paid to thé

innovative activitles of thé Modem Iran Calllgraphers' Association in applying thé state-of-the- Art in teaching calligraphy subséquent to years of trial and error, bringing dynamism to thé tives and actlvities of master Calligraphers, t hereby convey thé consent and request of ail signatorles (members to thé Associations' high council, master calligraphers, instructors, members to thé Associations' merits councit, executive and teaching colteagues, etc. ) ta thls letter, to kindly make necessary arrangements for thé inscription of thé "National Program to Safeguard thé Traditlonal Art of Calligraphy in Iran", authorising thé use of ail related materials of thé Association made avallable in thé nomination file, by UNESCO.

This Association expresses it's will to expand catligraphy teaching at both national and international levels.

Today, calligraphy is not limited to books only, but its manifestation is seen in various other domains of life as well. It is good to hâve thèse diverse domains taken into account, while taking measures to motivate and attract youth to calligraphy, directly or otherwise.
