Ce second volume desBulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Parisde l’année 2010 regroupe de nou- velles contributions présentées au colloque anniversaire de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris.
En 2009, la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris a en effet fêté ses 150 ans avec un colloque international à Paris, du 26 au 30 janvier. Nous tenons à remercier nos partenaires (le CNRS, la Mairie de Paris, le Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, l’Institut National des Recherches Archéologiques Préventives, l’Agence groupe Riccobono, la société Histoire d’Encre) qui ont contribué à divers titres au succès de ce colloque.
L’objectif était d’esquisser un panorama de notre discipline, aujourd’hui, autour de cinq thèmes : « Des idées et des hommes : histoire d’une discipline », « Évolution et peuplement : des faits à l’interprétation », « Homme, population, environnement », « Au carrefour de disciplines anthropologiques : le monde des morts » et « L’anthro- pologue dans la société », illustrant sa richesse et sa pluridisciplinarité.
L’année qui suit ce colloque, les Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Parisen proposent la publi- cation en deux volumes, et ce volume 22/3–4 en constitue le dernier volet. Nous remercions nos collègues, les membres de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris, et les étudiants qui ont apporté à nos échanges un enthousiasme et une vivacité enrichissante pour tous.
This second issue of the ‘Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris’for the year 2010, restores new contributions presented at the anniversary seminar of the‘Société d’Anthropologie de Paris’.
In 2009, to mark the 150th year since its foundation the ‘Société d’anthropologie de Paris’organised an inter- national colloquium in Paris, from the 26th to the 30th of January. We must express our gratitude to our partners (the CNRS, the City of Paris, the ‘Museum national d’Histoire naturelle’,the ‘Institut National des Recherches Archéolo- giques Préventives’, the ‘Agence groupe Riccobono’, the
‘society‘Histoire d’Encre’) that contributed to the success of this seminar.
The objective was to outline a panorama of our disci- pline, today, around five topics:“Ideas and Man, a history of anthropology”,“Evolution and Population: from finds to interpretation”,“Man, Population and Environment”,“The World of The Dead; At the Crossroad of Antropological Science” and“The Anthropologist in Society”, illustrating its richness and its multidisciplinary nature.
A year after this colloquium, the‘Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris’edits the report of its proceedings in two volumes; this volume 22/3–4 constitutes the last issue. We thank our colleagues, the members of the
‘Société d’Anthropologie de Paris’ and the students who brought to our exchanges an enthusiasm and an enriching promptness for all.
