This annex contains a breakdown of investment in construction into its ,various elements and basic ljJaterials .f'or.,,·the. purpose of providing a basis for :projections,of the respective builditig material industries.

The methodology is in line With the one used in the proj ections for the' West African sub-region, and is bhsed on experiences and information collected:'

on a mission to the ,sub-regipn.

Page t~o shows the basis for the breakdown of the investment in resi- dential 9-wellings into elements of constructa.on, Three average dwelling sizes have been chosen to represent the "low-cost house", the "medium-cost:
