Postdoctoral Researcher and a Master Program Coordinator in Digital Humanities
The Institute of Digital Humanities at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher and Master’s coordinator in the field of digital humanities.
The successful candidate has a background in digital humanities with application to humanities or social sciences or a background in humanities or social sciences with application to computer sciences.
He/she will launch a research project with the Director of the College of Humanities and the Director of the Institute.
He/she will also support the two Directors in implementing and coordinating the new Master program in Digital Humanities by:
• helping to develop, implement, and enforce program content and policies;
• developing communication and promotion material for the new Master;
• responding to requests for program information from prospective students, and managing the orientation for incoming students.
Experience: PhD in either computer sciences with applications in digital humanities, digital humanities, humanities with computer science skills, or social sciences.
Skills: Project management skills, excellent written and spoken English (good written and spoken French would be a plus).
Start date: as soon as possible.
Application deadline: position open until filled.
Activity rate: 70-100%.
Duration of contract: 1 year, renewable.
