Call for applications: International Scholarships Master in Economic Analysis and Policy
The Master program in Economic Analysis and Policy at the University of Lyon invites applications from top international students for the APE scholarships 2018/2019. A total amount of up to 14,000 euros may be awarded, divided into about 4-5 scholarships and allocated based on scientific excellence.
- Applicants wishing to be admitted in the first year of the program should hold an undergraduate degree (Licence, BA, Bsc, or equivalent).
- Applicants wishing to be admitted in the second year of the program should hold an undergraduate degree as well as 60 credits (ECTS or equivalent) from previous graduate studies.
- Previous training in economics or a related subject (applied mathematics, statistics, etc.) constitutes a significant advantage.
Students of all nationalities are welcomed; however, those currently enrolled in an academic program for more than one year in France are not eligible. Students should not already benefit from another French scholarship; however, combination with an internship is possible.
The application procedure consists of the following stages:
1) Usual application for enrolment into one of the tracks of the program (either in year 1 or year 2). Cf. https://www.gate.cnrs.fr/spip.php?article1081&lang=en;
2) Scholarship application package to be sent by email to the head of the program, Prof.
Corinne Autant-Bernard ([email protected]), including:
The application form, to be found on the above-mentioned website;
An up-to-date curriculum vitae;
A motivation letter;
The list of all courses attended during the 3-year Bachelor degree or equivalent (for enrolment in Year 1) or of the last 4 years (for enrolment in Year 2);
A transcript of records from the last two years and of the current year;
A certification of a B2 level (CEFR) in English for the M2 track “Economy and Finance”: IELTS 5.0-6.0; TOEIC 541-700; TOEFL (IB) 62-91; TOEFL (CB) 177-233 or TOEFL (PB) 503-577;
A certification of a B2 level (CEFR) in French for all the other tracks;
A copy of a valid ID card or passport.
All requested documents should be merged into a single PDF file, NAME_SURNAME.pdf.
Important dates
Complete applications should be received by the June 15 at the latest.
Pre-selected candidates will be informed of the decision of the program admission board by June 30.
