Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the impact and influence area of scientific and technological parks, and their role as dynamic agents in economic activity and in wealth creation processes. It also assessed the role within regional and national innovation systems.

In this work it is proposed to analyze the key success factors in these innovation investment projects. An analytical model is designed and implemented to assess the chances of success of a project of this nature (consolidated projects, or in their first stages). It is proposed to use the experience and knowledge of professionals who have developed their jobs and research activities in the field of scientific and technological parks, over recent years.

Finally, the model has been applied in a set of scientific and technological parks in order to validate the proposed model.
