Reducing the risk of antimicrobial resistance in food:

from sensitization to integrated surveillance

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is an important and emerging human and animal health challenge. Since 2014, IICA has provided continuous education and technical support to countries in the Americas to further their development of

national integrated monitoring systems for AMR in agriculture.
