After each training session, walk slowly for a few minutes to bring your body gradually to rest. This cool down phase helps your cardiovascular and respiratory systems, blood circulation and muscles return to normal. It also helps to eliminate side e ects such as the accumulation of lactic acid which is one of the major causes of muscle pain (cramps and sti ness).

STRETCHING

Stretching after exercise reduces muscle sti ness caused by lactic acid accumulation and stimulates blood circulation.

MAINTENANCE

Before performing any kind of service, please make sure the equipment is off and disconnected from the electrical supply.

Do not clean the machine with abrasive products or dissolvent to avoid damaging the finishings.

Do not allow damp or humidity to enter the panel display as it can damage it and can cause an electric hazard.

Keep the equipment away from direct sunlight as it can damage it, especially the screen console.

Use a soft and dry cloth to clean around the plug and the control panel. Never use a wet cloth.

To avoid hazards, do not introduce cleaner inside the equipment.

Do not use the treadmill in wet or dusty atmospheres as it can cause leaks or mechanical failures. Place this product on a levelled surface.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

Clean the machine regularly to get rid of dust and protect the components. You must clean both exposed sides of the machine to avoid debris to enter the belt. Use a soapy damp cloth to clean the belt. Do not use a cleaner. After use, dry the sweat from the handlebar and the belt.

BELT LUBRICATION

The platform and the treadmill come pre-lubricated with an antistatic lubricant. Users can lubricate them again after 100 hours of use.

Suggestion:

- Use less than 3 hours a week: lubricate every 6 months - Use between 4-7 hours a week: lubricate every 3 months - Use more than 8 hours a week: lubricate once a month.

NOTE: Do not lubricate more than necessary. Remember that a periodical and reasonable lubrication will extend the service life of your treadmill.

ADJUST THE TREADMILL DEVIATION

To improve the treadmill performance, you can adjust it if you feel a direction deviation after extended use due to the pressure unconsciously exerted by the legs. To adjust it, tighten the bolts located on the front part of the base with the provided Allen key and as shown on the pictures below.

In case of left deviation, tighten the screw on the left (clockwise) or the right screw (counterclockwise).

In case of right deviation, tighten the screw on the right (clockwise) or the left screw (counterclockwise).

NOTE: The treadmill belt should not be too tight as this can cause noises and can damage the engine.

TENSION BELT ADJUSTMENT

If the transmission belt needs tightening, you need to: use the key clockwise to tighten the bolt until the belt is tight enough.

NOTE: Frequently clean objects or dust that may fall on the belt.

CORRECT USE OF THE SWITCHING DEVICE

Do not touch nor disconnect the switch with wet hands. When pulling the cable, hold it by the plastic part, not from the cable itself. Do not place excessive weight over the cable. Do not twist the cable around the machine to avoid damaging it. Do not use the equipment if the switch or the cable is loose.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The following information may assist you identifying a problem and rectifying it.

Set-up equipment on a flat surface. If applicable, rotate feet under front of machine to move up or down as needed so that the equipment is steady.

This equipment is designed with user safety as a priority. In the event of electrical failure, the equipment will shut off automatically to prevent injury and damage to the unit. If you encounter unusual behaviour from the equipment, turn the power switch off and on to reset the equipment. This should ready the equipment for normal operation again. If after you have reset the equipment that it is still not operational, call an authorised service centre or technician for servicing as required.
