SASKATCHEWAN PROVINCIAL PARKS AND RECREATION SITES I hereby prohibit,
• pursuant to section 107.1 of The Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act, 1997, the possession or consumption of beverage alcohol; and
• pursuant to section 2-17 of The Cannabis Control (Saskatchewan) Act, the possession or consumption of cannabis;
in all campgrounds located in Saskatchewan provincial parks and recreation sites for the period commencing at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022, and ending on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 p.m.
At the request of Regional Park Authorities, I further prohibit the possession or consumption of beverage alcohol and cannabis in all campgrounds in the following regional parks for the period commencing at 12:00 p.m.
on Thursday, May 19, 2022, and ending on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 p.m.:
Atton’s Lake, Bengough and District, Brightsand Lake, Dunnet, Eagle Creek, Glenburn, Kipabiskau, Last Mountain, Lucien Lake, Moose Creek, Morin Lake, Palliser, Sandy Beach, St. Brieux, Sturgeon Lake, Wakaw Lake, Wapiti Valley, Wilkie.
This order is required for the proper management and control of these campgrounds and in the interest of public safety.
