Abstract of The master thesis

most important legitimate goal aimed at the marriage contract and the human soul aspires to. However, this may be encountered by pathological obstacles that prevent this result, which are mainly due to either the complete sterility of one of the spouses, or a biological defect that would cause poor fertility in one of them. Knowing that infertility has become a common denominator between the spouses, as it is contrary to what was previously believed in holding the wife alone responsible for not having children, modern medicine has revealed that both spouses bear a role in this. Modern medical science has dealt with treating cases of infertility and proposing alternative solutions to infertility, using

methods that some of them are in line with the rules of religion and morals, and with the legal texts in force, and others contradict them for violating the

principles and rules of public order
