13 February 2020.On Thursday February 13th, Sorbonne University Paris Nord and its 6 European partners signed the Mission Statement creating the
European Alliance 3IN (Integration-Inclusion-Involvement)
The President of Sorbonne University Paris Nord, Jean-Pierre Astruc, and the Presidents and Rectors of the 6 European partner universities signed, at the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the statement officially creating the European 3IN Alliance (Inclusion-Integration-Involvement) in the presence of Mrs Simone Bonnafous, Vice Rector in charge of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for the academic region of Île-de-France and a representative of the Île-de-France Regional Council.
The Sorbonne Paris Nord University has joined forces with 6 other European universities (Helsinki-Finland, Oslo-Norway, Brasov-Romania, Malaga-Spain, Würzburg-Schweinfurt- Germany, Braga-Portugal) to co-construct an inclusive European Alliance where no one is left behind. At the heart of this project is the will to co-create an eco-social university, concerned with the development of peri-urban areas and the integration of youth far from higher education.
Together, the partner universities will represent nearly 100,000 students, 8,000 teachers, researchers and administrative staff and hundreds of public and private partners.
