NEW LIFE
Yesterday, I went to visit the COHEN family who decides to completely change their lifestyle.
Up to six months, the family lived in an appartment of one hundred square meters in central London where the father worked in the world of finance and the mother as an accountant.
The COHENS with their two children left to live in the countryside in a small hamlet of three hundred inhabitants. There they have built an ecological wooden house. The pecularities of this house is that it was made with non-polluting materials, a solar heating system, a cleaning up by a system of filtration and purification by the plants and the installation in place of a rainwater salvage system. Their life changed between the city and the countryside. Now the children go to the school by bike whereas before they went by bus. Before the children often stayed at home playing video games while there they go for walks in forests, near the lakes.
Mr and Mrs COHEN settled as market gardener to grow organic vegetables. The desire to protect nature, respect the environment and protect the planet encouraged the COHEN family to settle in the countryside. The Cohens told me that since they changed their life, they are much less stressed and live more serenely. If we try to do the same, maybe we could save our
planet.
