EB9.R62 International Shigella Centres

Having considered the desirability of establishing international shigella centres at Atlanta (Georgia) and Oxford, and

Noting that the proposed programme and budget estimates for 1953 do not provide for the necessary funds for this purpose,

The Executive Board

1. APPROVES the establishment of these centres, and

2. REQUESTS the Director-General to make financial provision in his programme and budget estimates for 1954 for the establishment of the two international shigella centres in that year.
