EB9.R10 International Salmonella and Escherichia Centre The Executive Board,

Considering the pathogenicity of the Escherichia group of micro-organisms;

Considering that the same international facilities as are now available for the Salmonella should be avail- able for investigation of the Escherichia ;

Noting that inclusion of the Escherichia in the activities of the International Salmonella Centre at the Statens Seruminstitut, Copenhagen, would not appreciably increase the work of the centre and that no increase in the present WHO grant to the centre would be required,

REQUESTS the Director-General to propose to the Government of Denmark that the agreement between that Government and the World Health Organization concerning the International Salmonella Centre be amended to include the Escherichia.

(Second meeting, 21 January 1952)
