Vertical integration as a strategy to improve the performance of

enterprises in the industry

This paper addressed the option of vertical integration as a strategy adopted by enterprises to competition in the industry, this strategy enables the possibility of expanding the activities of the Foundation through both back towards integration activities upstream and downstream activities forward integration.

And this study has attempted to clarify the rationale for pursuing this competitive strategy institutions and highlight various economic theories behind them, and their impact on the functioning of the institutions as a competitive strategy by highlighting the benefits and costs that you add this strategy,And the study found a relationship between the vertical integration strategy and the market power of the enterprise through improved bargaining power in its industry, as provided, inter alia, operational savings and Informatics to reduce overall costs.
