•Exercise 15.1.
Analogously to the π+ →l+νl decay calculate the width of the K+ →e+νe and K+ → µ+νµ decay width. Explain the different factors. Compare the ratioΓ(K+→µ+νµ)/Γ(K+→ e+νe)with the experimental data from the Particle Data Group.
•Exercise 15.2.
Calculate the decay rate for K0 →π−l+νl. To do this first express the separate matrix element into the electroweak and hadron part. The hadron part hes the form
hπ−|sγ¯ µ(1−γ5)u|K0i= f1(q2)pµ+ f2(q2)qµ ,
where pµ = pµK+pµπ andqµ =pµK−pµπ. In the first approximation you may try to set f0=0, f1=1. Calculate the decay width in this approximation.
