Those of us who carry the Llanos in our hearts feel this way. Today we have heard several ideas on how to teach our future inheritors what the Llanos is and the values it holds. Caracas, October 2, 2015 The work songs of my large and strong Llanos are under the attack of modern times.

lt's time to hold on to the reins, our horse, and our hats, and follow the new path with our cabestrero on the lead.

Friends, experts and concerned parties meet and kick off this crusade to give encouragement to the 1/aneros. We give our permission to start the work, to preserve the songs and customs we share with the Llanos. Forged agreements bring about expectations that the world may declare our ancestral ways as heritage and never lose the lead with the help of the cu/ateros and roundup these work songs that are in risk of being forgotten.

May agreements be forged, may our experts be protected, may the herding tunes fly, and the whistle of the savannah be heard.

We give our consent to encourage Venezuelans and Colombians to join forces and utter the cry of the Llanos.
