Article 3:

Each year the Presidency shall pass to a representative of a different Member State, the order followed being that of the alphabetical list of the names of the Member States in their own language.

It is determined by the Secretary-General’s secretariat on the basis of the following list:

The period of one year mentioned in Article 8 of the Convention defining the Statute of the European Schools shall run from 1 August to 31 July of the following year.
