INTRODUCTION
The scientific literature has shown negative consequences on the everyday life of informal caregiver of people with severe mental illness. These informal caregivers have a lower health state and reduced quality of life, which are associated with higher caregiver burden as well as poorer patient outcomes (Moller-Leimkuhler et al. 2005; Bauer et al., 2012). Based on this evidence, the Ensemble (Together) program has been designed to promote the well-being of these informal caregivers (Rexhaj et al. 2017). It is characterized by a brief individualized intervention (5 meetings) focusing on the specific needs of the informal caregivers of people with severe psychiatric disorders. The Ensemble (Together) program completes other psychoeducation programs. The present study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the Ensemble (Together) program when compared to support as usual (SAU).

DISCUSSION-CONCLUSION
These preliminary results showed that the psychological health of informal caregivers following the Ensemble program is improved at the end of the intervention, whereas is not for those following the SAU. Overall, these results suggest that individualized brief interventions for informal caregivers of people with severe psychiatric disorders are particularly pertinent to improve their psychological health and, by boomerang effect, could improve patients outcomes.

The 2 Groups of informal caregivers were assessed through 3 instrument tools in 2 steps : T0 = pre-intervention and T1 =post-intervention.
Ø Zarit scale (ZS): Enables to measure the caregiver’s burden and collapse in caregiving; Hébert et al., 1993
Ø LOT-R scale [Life Orientation Test – R)] ; Enables a self-evaluation of one's optimism using a five-point Likert scale; Scheier et al., 1994 – 10 items
Ø BSI [Brief Symptom Inventory]: a brief psychological self-report symptom scale 53 items ; Derogatis & Melisaratos, 1983
We run paired t-tests to describe the differences between measures pre- and post-intervention for each group individually (Together versus SAU)
