Nouvelles vagues solitaires ` a la surface de l’eau

Grˆace `a l’excitation param´etrique d’ondes de surfaces dans une cellule de Hele-Shaw, nous mettons en

evidence deux nouveaux types de vagues solitaires. Il s’agit de vagues stationnaires tr`es localis´ees, l’une

etant de sym´etrie paire, l’autre de sym´etrie impaire. Elles diff`erent du ’clapotis’ localis´e mis en ´evidence en canal ´etroit par Wu et coll. [1], ou de l’oscillon qui apparaˆıt lorsque l’excitation param´etrique est compos´ee de deux fr´equences [2]. De plus, `a notre connaissance, aucune vague solitaire impaire n’avait

et´e mis en ´evidence jusqu’`a ce jour `a la surface de l’eau.
