Seventh session

Nairobi, 9 - 23 February 1965

Concerning: Ccntacts between the Chairman and MemUbL Sponsored by: Niger, Togo

The Economio Commission for Africa,

Considering the fact that sessions of the Commission are held every two years,

Recognizing the benefits of direct contacts at the highest level between the Chairman of the session and member States on matters concern- ing the general policy of the Commission,

Having regard to the mission report submitted by the Chairman of the Sixth session,

Invites the Chairman, before the Eighth session, to consider the possibility of entering into direct contact with member States, either individually or during sub-regional meetings, and to submit a full report on the activities he has thus undertaken;

Commends the Chairman of the Sixth session on his excellent report, which did much to guide the work of the seventh session.
