Dear Maria,
This is a letter from your friend! I’m 14 years old and I’m from York in the north of England. I have short dark hair and blue eyes.
I go to Riverside School in York. On weekdays, I get up at 7.30 and go to school from 8am to 3.15pm my favourite school subject is science, but I hate history!
My favourite sport is tennis, but I also play basketball and I like swimming. At weekends, I play the drums and I listen to music with my friends – we like rock and hip-hop. We usually go to the cinema on Saturday and my favourite films are The Lord Of The Ring old Bruce Lee kung fu films. We often go to the seaside in the summer, and every August I go to Italy with my parents for a holiday.
