La présence chinoise en Algérie entre investissement étranger direct et prestation de service

Abstract:

This article aims to study the nature of Sino-Algerian economic relations through, in particular, the analysis of investment over the period 2003-2015. Far from providing services in infrastructure and construc-tion, the analysis shows that Chinese direct investment appears exclusively in the hydrocarbon sector where many partnership contracts between Sonatrach and the Chinese oil companies are realized. China's weak presence in the manufacturing sector in Algeria, an essential sector for the diversification of the economy, is now to be filled by the relocation of Chinese manufacturing companies to this sector, especially since the Chinese economy Is in full reconversion .
