May 2012 Research Project

Project Title: “Role of Trade Development Authority in Economic Development of Pakistan”

Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Arshad Ali Bhatti

at International Islamic University Islamabad Pakistan

The purpose of the study was to find the relationship between exports and economic growth. In this study the data was used from WDI: Comparison of Export and GDP (1990-2004) US$.

After the comparison of GDP and exports from 1990-2004, result showed that small fluctuation in exports but overall trend of exports were increasing. As export were increasing GDP were also increasing. This study shows that there is positive relationship between exports and GDP.
