Foreign Exchange

9- There is no restriction on the amount of foreign currencies ""'-that' may be brought into Ethiopia, but all such holdings should be declared atrthe Customs at Addis-Ababa airport on arrival. The maximum amount of Ethiopian currency to be brought in or taken out without special

authority is limited to Eth.$150.00. Rates of exchange are approximately

11. Participants who wish the secretariat to make their hotel reserva tions are invited to send in their .request with full particulars at least one week before, arrival. . Whilst,every effort will be made to effect reservations in a particular hotel if..so requested, this cannot be guaranteed in advance.

The United Nations rate of subsistence allowance in Addis Ababa is US $13-00 por dienu /:i advance payment of 80 per cent of this subsistence allowance for the actual duration of the stay in connexion with the Seminars but not exceeding a period from 4 to l6..-Deojem<berJ9.ay be claimed a dav or two after arrival, the .balance will be..paid at the
