COMMITTEE ON RELATIONS

Draft Resolution proposed by the Working Party on the Pan American Sanitary Organization

The Committee on Relations recommends to the World Health Assembly the adoption of the following resolution:

THE WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY

DIRECTS the Executive Board to continue negotiations with the competent authorities of the Pan American Sanitary Organization with a view to the integration as soon as possible of PASO with WHO,

in accordance with Article 54 of the Constitution, pending which integration the Executive Board shall seek to conclude a working arrangement;

DECIDES further that the appendix to Annex 31 В of Official Records of the World Health Organization, No. 7, should serve as a basis for these negotiations, with the modification that Article 9 of the Draft Agreement contained therein be deleted.
