Final dissertation on “Complex Systems and Individual Perception”.
The main issue was the decision making processes in face of complex tasks and complex
socio-economic context. In the first epistemological part, the concept of systemic complexity was studied as developed in different disciplines and its possible applications to the
microeconomic theory discussed. In the second experimental part, the concept and meaning of subjectively perceived complexity is defined and tested through a neuro-economic experiment, supported by IRIDe Lab (Interdisciplinary Research & Intervention on Decision
Making), Milan University. The experiment has been conducted in order to understand how, in an individual decision making process, the socio-relational perceived complexity affects the individual attitude towards task’s complication.
October 2005: Bachelor in Economics (Laurea Triennale) at DES, Department Economic and Social Sciences, Bocconi University, final grade: 101/110. Final thesis: “Ambiguity and Insurance Choice”.
