RESOLUTION No. 377 EMERITUS STATUS
The EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, at its Twenty-second Regular Meeting, HAVING SEEN:
Document (IICA/CE/Doc.415(02), "Nominations for Conferral of Emeritus Status,"
CONSIDERING:
That Jaime H. Acosta Bernal, Rodolfo Martinez Ferrate, Hector Morales Jara, Gilberto Paez Bogarin, Antonio Pinchinat and Rodolfo Quiros Guardia have devoted much of their professional lives to the service of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, where they held important positions and discharged them with great success, dedication and skill;
That Mr. Acosta, Mr. Martinez, Mr. Morales, Dr. Paez, Dr. Pinchinat and Dr. Quiros meet all the requirements established in Article 16 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Directorate for obtaining the status of Emeritus;
That, in compliance with Article 16 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Directorate, the Executive Committee may grant the title of Emeritus,
RESOLVES:
To grant Jaime H. Acosta Bernal, Rodolfo Martinez Ferrate, Hector Morales Jara, Gilberto Paez Bogarin, Antonio Pinchinat and Rodolfo Quiros Guardia the title of Emeritus of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, with all the rights and privileges this entails. In the case of Rodolfo Martinez Ferrate, this title shall become effective on January 16, 2003.
