Conclusion  

-­‐60°  forward  Blted  nozzles  increased  driC  relaBve  to  verBcally  oriented  nozzles.  

 

 

-­‐Rotary  atomisers  with  a  narrow  droplet  size  distribuBon  centred  around  a  VMD  

of  300µm  do  not  significantly  reduce  driC  comparaBvely  to  hydraulic  nozzles.    

 

 

-­‐Turbulence  and  lower  entrained  air  flows  may  explain  driC  at  higher  sampling  

locaBons  of  rotary  atomisers  comparaBvely  to  hydraulic  nozzles.
