Les objectifs de ce travail de recherche seront multiples. Ils peuvent se classer en trois catégories dont chacune fera l’objet d’un chapitre du manuscrit. Tout d’abord, nous présenterons l’analyse de résultats de simulation de procédés de mise en forme à grande vitesse obtenus à l’aide d’une version laboratoire du logiciel industriel Forge3® et ceci, tant du point de vue physique que du point de vue numérique.

Dans une deuxième partie, nous expliciterons le développement d’un nouveau logiciel éléments finis de mise en forme baptisé Forge++ à partir de la librairie C++ CIMLib. Enfin, nous nous attacherons à la présentation de nouveaux schémas numériques, développés dans le cadre du logiciel Forge++, dans le but d’améliorer la précision et la rapidité des calculs éléments finis mis en jeu dans le cadre de la simulation des procédés grandes vitesses.
