Wheel assembly (fig. 3-4)

1. First place one end of the bolt (item 19) through the hole in the frame and secure it with a nut and washer.

2. Put the socket through the other end of bolt (item 19) and place the wheel, washer and secure it with the nut.

3. Place the wheel cover and secure it with a clip as illustrated on the inner cover.

4. Repeat above steps for the left side.

IMPORTANT!

The inner wheel should be inflated for it has been shipped out with lower pressure (max.

gauge pressure 3 bar/0.3 MPa).

Rubber feet assembly (fig. 5)

Hold the foot (item 15) against the frame as shown. First place the bolt through the hole in the frame and the hole in the foot and secure it with a nut. Then secure other three bolts and nuts with same procedure.

Transport handle assembly (fig. 6-7) Place the carry handle (item 18) through the bracket and tighten it with knob (item 18). Then place the bolt with a gasket through the hole in the frame and the push bar. Secure with a washer and a nut, as shown in Figure (6-7).

Electrical safety

- Electric supply cables and connected equipment must be in perfect condition.

- The generator is to be operated only with equipment whose voltage specifications corresponding to the generator's output voltage.

- Never connect the generator to the power supply (socket-outlet).

- Keep the cable length to the power tool as short as possible.

Environmental protection

- Dispose of soiled maintenance material and operating materials at the appropriate collection point.

- Recycle packaging material, metal and plastics.

Grounding

The housing is designed to be grounded, in order to discharge static electricity. To do this, connect one end of a cable to the grounding connection (6) on the generator and the other end to an external grounding device (for example an grounding rod).

Operation

IMPORTANT!

You must fill generator up with engine oil and fuel before you can start the engine.

- Check the fuel level and top it up if necessary.

- Make sure that the generator has sufficient ventilation.

- Make sure that the ignition cable is secured to the spark plug.

- Inspect the immediate vicinity of the generator.

- Disconnect any electrical equipment that may already be connected to the generator.

Starting the engine

- Do not connect the power tool before starting the motor.

- Open the oil cock (12) by turn to position I.

- Move the ON/OFF switch (9) to position

"I”.

- Move the choke lever (10) to position IØI.

- Start the engine with the pull cord (11) by pulling the handle forcefully. If the engine does not start, pull the handle again.

- Push the choke lever (10) back again after the engine has started.

IMPORTANT!

When starting with the pull cord, the motor may recoil suddenly as it starts up, resulting

in hand injuries. Wear protective gloves when starting the equipment.

Connecting tools to the generator Connect the equipment you want to use to the socket-outlets (3/4)

IMPORTANT!

- These sockets may be loaded

continuously (in S1 mode) and temporarily (in S2 mode).

- Do not connect the generator to the domestic power network as this may result in damage to the generator itself or to other electrical appliances in your home.

Note: Some electrical appliances (power jigsaws, drills, etc.) may have a higher level of power consumption when used in difficult conditions.

Switching off the engine

- Before you switch off the generator, allow it to run briefly with no consumers so that it can "cool down”.

- Move the ON/OFF switch (12) to position

"O”.

- Close the oil cock.

Overload cut-out for socket-outlets Important! The generator is fitted with an overload cut-out.

This shuts down the sockets (3/4). You can restart the sockets (3/4) by pressing the overload cut-out (7).

IMPORTANT!If this happens, reduce the electric power you are taking from the generator or remove any defective connected appliances.

IMPORTANT! Defective overload cut-outs must be replaced only by overload cut-outs of identical design and with the same performance data. If repairs are necessary, please contact your customer service centre.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Switch off the motor and pull the spark plug boot from the spark plug before doing any cleaning and maintenance work on the equipment.

Important: Switch off the machine immediately and contact your service station:

- If the generator makes unusual vibrations or noise.

- If the engine appears to be overloaded or misfires.

Cleaning

- Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as much as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.

- We recommend that you clean the generator immediately each time you have finished using it.

- Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could degrade the plastic parts of the equipment.

Ensure that no water trickles into the generator.

Air filter (Fig. 8-9)

- Clean the air filter at regular intervals, and replace it if necessary. To do so, follow these steps:

- Open both clips and remove the air filter cover (Fig 8).

- Remove the filter elements (Fig. 9).

- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or oil to clean the elements.

- Clean the elements by tapping them on a flat surface. In cases of stubborn dirt first clean with soapy water, and then rinse with clear water and air dry.

- Assemble in reverse order.

Spark plug (Fig. 10)

Check the spark plug (item 29) for dirt and grime after 20 hours of operation and if necessary clean with a copper wire brush.

The spark plug should be serviced after every 50 hours of operation.

- Pull off the spark plug boot with a twist.

- Remove the spark plug with the supplied spark plug wrench.

- Assemble in reverse order.

Changing the oil and checking the oil level (before using the machine) (Fig. 5) The motor oil is best changed when the motor is at working temperature.

- Only use motor oil (15W40).

- Place the generator on a slightly inclined surface so that the oil drain plug is at the lower end.

- Open the oil filler plug (25).

- Open the oil drain plug (26) and let the old engine oil drain out into a drip tray.

- After the old oil has drained out, close the oil drain plug and place the generator on a level surface again.

- Fill in engine oil up to the top mark on the oil dip stick.

- Important: Do not screw the dipstick in to check the oil level, simply insert it up to the thread.

- Dispose of the waste oil properly.

Oil shortage cut-out

The oil shortage cut-out will initiate if there is too little oil in the engine. In this case it will not be possible to start the engine or it will cut out automatically after a short period of time. It cannot be started again until the engine oil has been topped up.

Disposal and recycling

The generator is shipped with packaging material to avoid damages during transit.

Packaging materials can be reused or recycled.

The unit and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective components must be disposed of as special waste. Please discard or recycle your product and its packaging according to your municipal bylaws.

Transport

Before transporting the generator, make sure of the following:

• Generator is turned off.

• Generator is cooled down.

• Oil cock (12) is at "OFF" position.

• There is at least one person per transportation handle (16).

ATTENTION! Slipping or falling unit can crush hands and feet.

The generator is very heavy. At least two people are required to move the unit.

Carry the generator with transport handles:

• Lift the generator evenly.

• Carry the generator to the operating place.

• Place the generator on a flat, solid and stable surface.

Carry the generator with wheel (17) and carry handle (18):

• Assemble wheels and carry handle.

• The generator can be carried by lifting the carry handle (14).
