4.2 FUTURE DIRECTION
The next phase of this project involves the development of a base model that will utilize the data and modeling approach identified in the data review. The base model will estimate the current and projected impact of mental health in Canada for each year over a thirty year simulation period across key measures of life (incidence, prevalence, mortality) and economics (economic disability, direct health care costs and indirect costs).
